Junior Golf Financial
Assistance Program
The Junior Golf Financial Assistance Program has two different funds that help families afford junior golf related expenses.
The general fund is open for applications during 3 windows each year. During these windows families can apply for assistance. The amount families will receive will be based on their needs and requests. our goal is to provide as many awards as we can and help as many families as possible.
The Learn To Golf Fund is directly supported by companies and sponsors in the form of youth golf program scholarships. These scholarships pay for the junior to attend a camp or coaching program of their choosing.
General Fund Details
The application for assistance is open for three windows each year. Below are the application windows
January 1st - February 28th
May 1st - June 30th
September 1st - October 31st
Once all applications are received for an application window they will be reviewed by our committee. Decisions on applications can take up to 45 days. Those receiving funding will be notified via a letter. If you did not receive funding you will be notified via email.
Applicants can only receive funding once per year. If you do not receive funding in an application window you can apply in a different window within the calendar year.
Acceptable Golf Related Expenses
Golf equipment such as clubs, balls, attire and or accessories to participate in golf programs or events.
Coaching Fees
Tournament entry fees
Travel related expenses for golf related programs & events (ex. PGA Junior League or Drive Chip Putt regional events)
Playing or practice related fees

LEARN TO GOLF FUND DETAILS
The Learn To Golf Fund is directly supported by sponsors that choose to offer a scholarship that directly supports a junior learning the game. Each scholarship will be awarded to one junior based on their needs and qualifications from their application.

Scholarship Amount : $400
Application Window : January 1st - March 1st
How Does The Funding Work?
Funding will be sent directly to the organizations or programs you are requesting if for the following reasons:
Tournaments
Coaching
Playing and Practicing related fees
Funding will be sent directly to the family for the following reasons:
Travel related expenses for programs where your junior advances beyond local level
Golf related equipment (if the funding fully covers the golf related equipment the EIJGA will purchase it and deliver to you)
The EIJGA does ask those receiving funding to send photos and/or results showcasing your junior in golf to which it directly relates from the funding received. The EIJGA will only utilize these photos and/or results for its purpose of its advertising and future organizational campaigns.
